All TASK structures, the events, parties and workshops rely on the same basic infastructure:
- a designated area (usually but not necessarily made from construction paper)
- a variety of props and materials (cardboard, plastic bags, pencils, tables cling wrap, tape, markers, ladders, etc.
- and the participation of people who agree to follow two simple rules
- write down a task on a piece of paper and add it to a designated "TASK pool,"
- take a task from that pool and interpret it any which way he or she wants, using whatever materials are available
When a task is completed, a participant writes a new task, pulls a new task, and so on.

- Make a whale
- Paint a tattoo on someone’s arm
- Make a pearl necklace from paper
- Add color to a boxed structure
- Hug the next three people you see (-:
- Act like you are in an action film being shot at
- Get a partner and wrap yourself up as a gift with a bow
- Find someone wearing green and paint a hop scotch
- Draw a heart on a cheek
- Lie on your back and act like a turtle on it’s back in turmoil
- Say hi to 10 new people
- Tell one of your deepest secrets in a cardboard tube
- Make a list of 20 words that describe the weather
- Create a beach scene
- Find the nearest art girl and ask her to be your valentine
- Make a fake invention out of things. Then try to sell it to someone
- Give 5 guys a total make over
- Draw the emotions you are feeling right now
- Ask someone if you can paint them on a wall then paint them
- Paint a really really long line
- You can do whatever you want
- Group rap
- Lie still on the floor until someone asks you what you’re doing
- Play hang man
- Put a picture on a bald head
- Make a pattern
- Make some apples, stick them to your body, pretend you are a tree and invite people to pick your fruit
- Make a huge mess
- Make as many airplanes as you can in 15 minutes and then launch them
- Scream real loud
