The Experience Printmaking curriculum is a clear, practical, and essential resource for the modern-day print studio or art classroom. What Is Printmaking?
Printmaking is both a technical and a creative process in which artists explore ideas and subject matter. Like drawing, painting, or photography, printmaking is a form of communication. In printmaking, a print is not a reproduction, or copy, of an original. Each print is an original, handmade work of art, created by pressing paper against an inked surface, or in the case of silkscreen, pushing ink through a screen onto paper or other surface.
