Promote Your Art Program

Show off the wonderful art that students are creating! Each year, Davis Publications creates a planning calendar full of artist birthdays, holidays, quotes, and advocacy. Please see the following regulations and instructions to submit student art for consideration.

Who Can Enter: All students — Elementary through High School

Prizes: Front cover artwork — teacher and student each receive $100 Blick gift certificates, plus 10 Monthly Planners

Back cover artworks (between 4–10 will be selected) — teachers and students each receive $25 Blick gift certificates, plus 10 Monthly Planners

Deadline: January 6, 2025

Rules and Eligibility:

1. Entries may be submitted by the art teacher or by the student. If you are a student under the age of 18, please have a parent or guardian review the following rules and eligibility requirements with you to make sure your entry qualifies.
2. Artworks should not contain any copyrighted content or content that could be perceived as offensive, such as nudity and profanity.
3. Image file(s) of student artwork should be no less than 8.5 x 11" at 300 dpi.
4. Supervising art teachers should submit a digital file (JPEG, TIFF, or PDF) of their finalists’ work using this form. Note: If it is not possible to get a high-resolution image, the artwork can be shipped to the Davis offices in Worcester, MA.
5. Each submission must include a signed artwork reproduction permission form.
6. Entries that do not adhere to the above guidelines can not be accepted.
7. For winning submissions under the age of 18, the art teacher or parent will be directly notified in January 2025. Winners will also be announced on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Judging:
Images will be selected by Davis Publications’ Art Director Julia Wade. Entries will be judged based on overall impact and originality.
